Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the Stitchr Android app and services, operated from Bengaluru, India. By placing an order you accept them.

What Stitchr does

Stitchr connects you with independent partner tailors near you. We take your order, arrange pickup and delivery, and handle payment. The alteration work itself is carried out by the partner tailor, not by Stitchr.

Orders and prices

• Prices are set by each partner tailor and shown in the app before you pay. The amount shown at checkout is the amount charged.
• Pickup and delivery charges, and any express charge, are shown separately before payment.
• An order is confirmed only once payment is captured. Unpaid orders are released automatically after 15 minutes.
• Time slots are limited. Booking a slot reserves capacity for that window.

Cancellations and refunds

• To cancel, message us on WhatsApp. We cancel from our side and the refund is issued to the original payment method.
• If a tailor cannot take your garment, you get a full refund and we return the garment free of charge.
• If the work is not as instructed, tell us within 3 days of delivery and we will redo it free of charge.
• If an express order misses its stated turnaround, the express charge is refunded and the order continues as a standard one.
• Refunds are processed to the original payment method and typically settle within 5-7 working days, depending on your bank.

Your responsibilities

• Give accurate pickup details and be reachable during your chosen slot.
• Check pockets before handing over a garment. We are not responsible for items left inside.
• Tell us about delicate fabrics or prior repairs in the instructions field.

If something goes wrong with a garment

Alteration is irreversible by nature. Where a garment is lost or damaged through our or a partner tailor's fault, we will work with you on a fair resolution. Tell us within 3 days of delivery so we can investigate while the facts are fresh.

Payments

Payments are processed by Razorpay. We never see or store your card number, UPI PIN, or banking credentials.

Service area

We operate in limited areas of Bengaluru. If we do not yet reach you, you can leave your number and we will tell you when we do.

Changes

We will update this page when these terms change and revise the date above.

Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of India, with courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka having jurisdiction.
