Stitchr ("we", "us") is a doorstep tailoring service operated from Bengaluru, India. This policy explains what data the Stitchr Android app collects, why, and what your choices are.

What we collect

• Phone number — to create and sign in to your account (OTP) and to coordinate pickups and deliveries.
• Name — to label your garments at the tailor and address you.
• Location (precise, foreground only) — used when you set your location, to check whether a partner tailor serves your area and to place the map pin. We never track location in the background.
• Saved addresses — pickup/delivery addresses you add (label, street details, landmark, map coordinates).
• Order details — services booked, garment instructions, time slots, prices, and status history.
• Payment confirmation — payments are processed by Razorpay. We never see or store card numbers, UPI PINs, or banking credentials; we keep only the payment reference, amount, and status needed to confirm orders and process refunds.

We do not collect contacts, photos, files, microphone, camera, advertising identifiers, or background location. The app shows no third-party ads and contains no advertising or analytics SDKs.

How we use it

• To check serviceability and route your order to a nearby partner tailor.
• To schedule pickup and delivery and keep you informed of order status.
• To process payments and refunds (via Razorpay).
• To provide customer support (WhatsApp / email).
• To decide where to open next (aggregated "notify me" demand).

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

Who we share it with

• Razorpay (payment processing) — receives the amount and order reference when you pay.
• Google Maps Platform (address search, map tiles, reverse geocoding) — receives the coordinates or search text needed to serve those features.
• Partner tailors and delivery riders — receive your first name, pickup address, and garment/service details needed to fulfil the order.
• Infrastructure — our servers run on Google Cloud (data stored in the asia-south1 / Mumbai region).

Data retention & deletion

We keep account data and order history while your account is active and as needed for legal, tax, and accounting obligations. You can request deletion of your account and personal data at any time — see Delete my account. We complete verified requests within 30 days; records we must keep for legal reasons are retained in de-identified form.

Security

All traffic between the app and our servers uses HTTPS/TLS. Access to production data is restricted to the operator.

Children

Stitchr is not directed at children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

We'll update this page when the policy changes and revise the date above. Material changes will be announced in the app.
